Once a price, timeline, and payment plan has been established, I will write up a contract for us both to sign and confirm. All plans have an upfront payment, but the full price can be paid in multiple parts. Edits are received once payment is complete.

Have you had someone look over your manuscript before approving it for printing?
I will make one final sweep through your manuscript while keeping a keen eye open for any grammatical, spelling, or technical errors in your writing. Additionally, I will ensure the formatting and layout is consistent.

You will receive a manuscript with my edits (as tracked changes, if requested). I ask for two weeks for PRs.

I will scrutinize your draft for solely grammatical and spelling errors.

I recommend this editing to experienced writers who have an established style and do not want line editing.

Line editing
Do you have a complete story but the sentences sound too technical or don't seem to flow?
I will edit your writing for sentence pacing and flow, while maintaining your voice and the story details.

Furthermore, I will copyedit while doing so, fixing grammatical and spelling errors.

You will receive a copy of your draft with my edits as tracked changes. I ask for three weeks for LEs around 80k words.
Developmental editing
(complete draft, fantasy only)
Do you feel as if there is a part of your story that is lacking? Perhaps pacing, plot, world, or character? I will analyze your work and track the development of your story.

Before you send me your work, I will send you a form to fill out with general questions (for example, "What is your main concern?"). This will help guide my editing so that it works best for you and your piece.

With your draft, I will leave comments and suggest edits on your work as I read and analyze.
Once I have finished, I will send you a feedback letter addressing my main edits and advice on how to move forward. I ask for a month for DEs around 80k words.
Developmental coaching

The same process as developmental editing applies (written above); however, alternatively (or additionally) to the feedback letter, we can discuss through video chat or online messaging.
